Whats a Real Estate Bloggerage?

What the heck is a real estate Bloggerage? Good question. It’s simple really. It’s when the principal of a real estate brokerage along with all the other members of the company blog about local real estate issues that matter to their home buyers and sellers. Their real estate views, opinions and observations are shared on a daily basis with their readers. It’s about having a dialogue your clients and potential clients - It’s relationship 2.0 baby.

A Bloggerage is a state of mind. It’s a transparent way to building your brand - in-house. Rather than having a PR or Marketing firm create a one way campaign about you and your business, you can relatively easily create a cost effective two way conversation by blogging. Let’s face it, buyers and sellers are already having conversations online - why not jump in head first to be a part of it?

A real estate Bloggerage conducts its business a little differently. The philosophy is to build your real estate brand organically. Grassroots if you will. It just takes a little creativity and lots of passion. Online, blogging and social networking are key elements to connecting with consumers. Offline, good old fashioned networking does the trick. Human to human contact is priceless.

Kiosk Realty is a Real Estate Bloggerage - phase 1. Both online and offline, I am connecting with both home buyers and sellers. Although I haven’t done it yet, I plan on chronicling my company’s weekly if not daily life as a real estate Bloggerage - maybe even with video. One of my lofty goals is to assemble a highly competent team of real estate agents and brokers that love to write blog. The team will compromise of agent bloggers that know their neighborhoods and buildings inside and out. Together, as a team of authors working within one company, I think we can create something special. To my knowledge, I am not aware of an entire real estate company that blogs. Now I just need to build the team.
